Through partnership with the Texas Education Agency, Texas Workforce Commission, and Texas Association for the Education of Young Children, the Children’s Learning Institute hosts the TSR Institute as an exceptional professional development opportunity provided free of charge to Texas early childhood educators. The Institute is known for its unique combination of presentations by both national research experts and experienced, hands-on trainers and coaches. In addition to training in the very best research to practice methods, attendees have the opportunity to network with more than 1,000 professionals from every variety of early care setting.
The Children’s Learning Institute will not host the TSR Summer Institute in 2019. This year, we will host a series of regional workshops across the state for infant and toddler teachers, pre-K teachers, and program administrators. Our goal with these regional workshops is to provide high-quality professional development to locations where we have not had a opportunity to host events. Registration for the regional workshops will be provided at no cost.
The TSR Institute was established in 2011 to bring together professionals from diverse communities under a common goal: advancing the quality of our early education through exposure to the best research-to-practice methods. All Texas early childhood educators and caregivers are welcome to register for the Institute, regardless of formal participation in the Texas School Ready project.
