Through partnership with the Texas Education Agency and Texas Workforce Commission, the Children’s Learning Institute at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) hosts the TSR Institute as an exceptional professional development opportunity provided free of charge to Texas early childhood educators. The Institute is known for its unique combination of presentations by both national research experts and experienced, hands-on trainers and coaches. In addition to training in the very best research to practice methods, attendees have the opportunity to network with more than 1,000 professionals from every variety of early care setting.

Conference attendance is open to all ECE professionals and available at no cost.
The TSR Institute was established in 2011 to bring together professionals from diverse communities under a common goal: advancing the quality of our early education through exposure to the best research-to-practice methods. All Texas early childhood educators and caregivers are welcome to register for the Institute, regardless of formal participation in the Texas School Ready project.
Certificates for the TSR Institute are awarded through the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System.
