Through partnership with the Texas Education Agency and Texas Workforce Commission, the Children’s Learning Institute at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) hosts the TSR Summer Institute as an exceptional professional development opportunity provided free of charge to Texas early childhood educators. The Institute is known for its unique combination of presentations by both national research experts and experienced, hands-on trainers and coaches. In addition to training in the very best research to practice methods, attendees have the opportunity to network with more than 1,000 professionals from every variety of early care setting.
Each day you’ll attend online for about three hours, with the opportunity to view more sessions through CLI Engage for credit after the conference concludes.
Conference attendance is open to all early childhood educational professionals and available at no cost.
The TSR Summer Institute was established in 2011 to bring together professionals from diverse communities under a common goal: advancing the quality of our early education through exposure to the best research-to-practice methods. All Texas early childhood educators and caregivers are welcome to register for the Institute, regardless of formal participation in the Texas School Ready project.
Certificates for the TSR Summer Institute are awarded through the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System.
Attendees are required to have a free TECPDS account.
